Making Calls from Jail

Making Calls from Jail

Calling someone is easy, you go on your phone and press their name and it dials it for you. However if you’re in jail, it’s not that simple. There’s a different system in how to place a call. This is something most people don’t know, but it’s important that you do.

Making a jail call can be expensive. Inmates make calls through something like payphones. Someone has to pay for the call. Typically there are services that you can pre-pay for the call. If not, the person who the inmate calls accepts the charges when they accept the call. This does not leave time for romantic talks.

On top of the calls being expensive inmates can also not call toll free numbers. This limits a lot of numbers that they may have memorized. Remember, they don’t have access to their phones so they can’t search for any numbers. They won’t be able to just press a button instantly dial their Mother’s number.

The hassle of dealing with jail calls is too much for most people. The best solution is to call us. Once you call us we can send an agent to talk to your loved one who is in custody, or if you call us from custody we can call your family for help bailing you out. Then when we bail you out, you won’t have to worry about making calls from jail.
